Evamae Jensen of Manhasset. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Charles Jensen. She is survived by her children, Karen (Peter Mount), Linda and James (Karen); her grandchildren, Eric and Amy Cable, Ross and Tyler Jensen, and by her sister, Beth, and brother, Bill. Her loving and joyful spirit, shared freely with all her family and countless friends, is a treasured legacy. A memorial service was held on Monday, May 5, at Christ Episcopal Church in Manhasset. Donations in her name may be made to Christ Episcopal Church, Manhasset.

Robert M. Corwen, 72, of Manhasset and Naples, FL, died on May 2, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Janice and children, Robert M. Corwen Jr. (Kelly), Catherine McQuilling (Merrick) and Kimberley Coene (Ted). He is also survived by his grandchildren Sean Connor, Brendan, Meghan, Merrick, Griffin, Carson, Robby and Tommy, and by his brother, Albert. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Fairchild & Sons, Manhasset. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to FRAXXA Research Foundation, 45 Pleasant Street, Newburyport, MA 01950.

Dr. Gerard J. Stork, formerly of Manhasset, a radiologist who practiced medicine in Queens for 43 years and was one of the first practitioners of radiation for the treatment of cancer, died on Friday, May 2, 2003, at the Memorial Hospital at Easton, MD. He was 88. Dr. Stork graduated from St. John's University and Downstate Medical School of the State University of New York. He served as a major in the US Army Medical Corps during World War II and opened offices in Fresh Meadows, Elmhurst and Ridgewood after the war. A longtime member of the Queens Medical Society, his practice operated the first privately owned cobalt machine in New York City. Dr. Stork was also a successful businessman. In addition to his New York medical offices, he built and managed professional buildings in Smithtown and Babylon. Dr. Stork moved to St. Michael's, MD, in 1995. His wife, Mary, six sons and two daughters, 23 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren survive him. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Fairchild & Sons, Manhasset. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Mary's R. C. Church in Manhasset on Tuesday, May 6, with burial following in St. John's Cemetery, and Food for the Poor, Deerfield Beach, FL.

Frederick W. Hornerkamp Jr., 86, of Southold, formerly of Manhasset, died at Eastern Long Island Hospital on May 2, 2003. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Mary; he is survived by his children, Anne Olsen and her husband, Gary, of Southold; Frederick W. III and his wife Kathleen of Midland, MI; Joseph P. and Catherine of Garden City; and Mary Beth Snee and her husband, Joseph, of West Chester, PA. 11 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and his sister, Margaret H. McNally of Breezy Point, also survive him. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the William F. Coster Funeral Home in Cutchogue. Donations to San Simeon by the Sound Nursing Facility, P. O. Box 2122, Greenport, NY 11944 or St. Ignatius Academy, 854 Hunts Point Avenue, Bronx, NY 10474 or the Eastern Long Island Hospital Emergency Room Fund, 201 Manor Place, Greenport, NY 11944, would be appreciated.
