Henry V. Pecora of Manhasset died on April 13, 2003. Born in Flushing, he resided in Manhasset and East Alstead, NY.

Mr. Pecora was an attorney, a former Manhasset Boy Scout Master and the founder of the Flushing Volunteer Ambulance Corps. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II, and was a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a charter member of the Manhasset Joggers and a past president of the Norgate Civic Association.

He was pre-deceased by his wife, Veronica. He is survived by his wife Rita, and children, Barbara Prentiss, Karen Turrisi, Donald Pecora and James Pecora. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Fairchild Funeral Chapel in Manhasset. A funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, April 16, at St. Mary's R. C. Church in Manhasset. Burial is at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Hooksett, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Diabetes Association, Manhasset Boy Scouts, Manhasset Post #304 American Legion or the Manhasset Community Fund.

Paul Robertell, 81, of Deltona, FL, passed away March 29, 2003. Born in New York City, NY. He was a resident of Strathmore Vanderbilt from 1962 to 1976 when he retired from New York Telephone and moved to Florida. He was a member of St. Mary's Church. A member of Knights of Columbus 3rd and 4th Degree, The Elks, Sons of Italy and Empire State, all of Deltona; The German Club, Casselberry, FL; The American Legion in Lake Helen; The Junior Opera Group in Brooklyn, NY. He loved to sing and studied voice in Pennsylvania. Mr. Robertell was a WWII veteran of the Army Air Corps for three years. Survivors are his wife of 54 years, Alyce Robertell; son Paul Robertell, Jr., Deltona, FL; daughters, Alyce Wise, Deltona, FL, Pat Hudson, Silver Lake, OH; brother Tony Robertell, Las Vegas; sister Phyllis Blanche, Queens, NY; six grandchildren.
