Sherwood "Woody" Jonathan Palasek, of Longmont, CO, died March 27, 2003 at Longmont United Hospital due to a heart attack. He was 56 years old. Woody was born on March 4, 1947 in Roslyn, to Stanley Palasek and Marcy Rykowski. He was raised in Port Washington and graduated from Chaminade High School in 1965. He also earned a bachelor degree from Pratt Institute in 1969. He moved to Boulder in 1979 and to Longmont in 1992.
Mr. Palasek married Catherine Nofi in 1969. They were later divorced. Woody was remarried on Aug. 7, 1993 in Niwot, CO, to Debbie Stine.
Throughout his career, Woody worked in sales and marketing for various companies including IBM, Storage Tek, Prolink, Reference Technology, Dataware Technologies and was co-founder of netLibrary. At the time of his death, he was employed with Land Title Guarantee Company in Longmont and actively involved in his community and church.
His family remembers his sense of humor, intelligence, eternal optimism and his love for CU sports, golf, hiking, climbing 14ers, running in the Bolder Boulder, and tailgaiting.

Sandra Lee Fenster, 56, of Port Washington, died on March 31, 2003. She was born in Warwick, NY. She was formerly employed by JP Morgan as a trust officer. Wife of Fred. Stepmother of Jordan and Sarah. Grandmother of Miriam and Naomi. Sister of Mary Lee. Sister-in-law of Susan and Roy Sparber. Aunt of Nancy, Charlie, Daralyn, Mary, Jessica and Joshua. She will be missed by her friends especially Linda, Roberta, Maureen, Cecil, Evelyn, Lily. Services were held at The Community Synagogue.
