The Manhasset Clearview Theater is, once again, donating the use of their theater so that the Bayview Civic Association can host the 8th Annual Holiday Show for Manhasset's kids. It will be held Saturday morning, Dec. 21.

The ticket price will remain at $1, thanks to Clearview's generosity and that of Chase Manhattan Bank, which is the major financial sponsor.

Although Bayview Civic volunteers host this show it is an event for all Manhasset kids and we welcome everyone to join in the fun. There will be a movie, Santa Claus, candy, a (free) raffle and give-a-ways for the kids. Over the years, Manhasset families have contributed thousands of pounds of food for Island Harvest. We ask you and your children to continue to help those who are less fortunate and please make a generous food donation at the theater.

Tickets are being sold ($1) at the Chase Manhattan Bank in Munsey Park, Washington Mutual, Joe's Haircutters and Dun Rite Cleaners in the Plandome Road area. Tickets are not available at the theater and seating is limited.

If you are a merchant or a resident who would like to donate raffle prizes or give-a-ways please call me at 627-5771.
