MHS Has Nine Siemens Semi-finalists
Nine Manhasset High School students were named semi-finalist winners of the prestigious Siemens Westinghouse competition last week. This is the largest number ever for the school's Science Research Program directed by Peter Guastella.

Library Plans to Reopen on Tuesday
The Manhasset Public Library, which has been closed since Saturday, Oct. 26, hopes to reopen its doors on Tuesday, Nov. 5. Mold has been discovered in certain areas of the library and during the week it is closed the mold will be professionally removed.

Manhasset Field Hockey Finishes Up Season
The Manhasset Varsity Field Hockey Team celebrated their last home game of the regular season on Oct. 15. Coached by Steve Sproul and Brandy Miller, the team will finish their regular season against Garden City. Their current record in 8-3-1. The team is looking forward to a strong showing in the playoffs this year.
