Florence Henry Lechleider passed away on July 30, 2002 at the age of 99. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on Sept. 18, 1902 and married Ignatius Lechleider of Middle Village, NY on Sept. 24, 1922. Widowed since 1946, she had resided with her daughter and son-in-law, Florence and Gene Parrella, for the past 36 years in Manhasset.

She is survived by her two daughters, Florence Parrella and Lucille Lukin of Bonita Springs, FL. Another daughter, Marie Sangirardi, passed away in 1999. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated by Msgr. John J. McCann at St. Mary's Church in Manhasset on Aug. 2, 2002. Interment was at St. Peter's Cemetery in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Maria Gunselmann Reh of North Andover, MA, died in the early hours of August 1, 2002, at The Meadows Nursing Home in North Andover. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Kilian Reh.

Mrs. Reh was born on May 16, 1911 in Altendorf, Germany. She arrived in the United States through Ellis Island in 1930 and resided first in Brooklyn and later in Manhasset. Twenty-three years ago she joined her only daughter, Margo Kealler, and her husband, David, in North Andover.

Mrs. Reh was the matriarch of a large extended family in New York and played an integral part in raising her three nieces, whom she brought from Germany to live with her. She also was instrumental in the raising of her own two grandchildren. She was much loved by her family and friends and will be sorely missed.

Mrs. Reh is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Margo and David Kealler; two nieces, Ria and Roswitha of New York; and two grandchildren, Danielle and Robert of Massachusetts and Atlanta. She is also survived by many family members in New York and Germany.

A private burial will take place at St. Charles Cemetery on Long Island.

Alfred G. Lynch, 70, of Ormond Beach, FL, died on Aug. 10, 2002. Mr. Lynch was a retired sergeant of the Nassau County Police Department, president of the Emerald Society, columnist for the PBA Newsletter, member of the PBA, I.P.A., Superior Officers and Holy Name Societies. He was president of the Car Wash Association of Suffolk County and three-term past president of the Ormond Beach Irish American Club. He was also a member of the SongWriters of America, the New York and Florida Bar Realtor Association and creator of Alpha Laser Corporation.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Mae; his children, Maureen Nicolosi of Manhasset, Patricia Lynch of Ormond Beach, Theodore Lynch of Ormond Beach and Kristina Wiggins of Tallahassee, Fl; his grandchildren, Ryan Nicolosi and Alexis Sirafisi; his brother, Charles Lynch of Ormond Beach. His brother James Lynch and his sister, Lenore Krumenacker of New York, predeceased him.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Fairchild Funeral Chapel in Manhasset. A funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, Aug. 14, at St. Mary's R. C. Church in Manhasset with interment at Pinelawn Memorial Park. For those interested, donations may be made to Trans Life Organ and Tissue Transplant Services or the American Diabetes Association.
