I would like to take this opportunity to express our deep appreciation to the Manhasset community for your support of the 2002-2003 budget. This was a difficult budget to prepare since we had to deal with many challenges--decreasing state aid, increasing costs associated with insurances and still maintain our superb educational program.

The board and staff alike are mindful of the sacrifices and commitment that district residents make to ensure that the quality education continues in Manhasset. Your support for our efforts inspires us to work even harder for the benefit of the Manhasset children. We all recognized that the centerpiece of the quality of life in our community is our children and education that they receive.
