Jason B. Harris, 30, died suddenly and unexpectedly of a massive heart attack on April 22, 2002. Jason, a graduate of Paul D. Schreiber High School, Delhi College and a student of Dowling College, had planned to pursue a career in aviation, as a pilot. Jason is survived by his mother, Arlene Schulze Harris of Port Washington; a sister, Jennifer Louise Harris Bramble; nephew, Solomon Tyler Bramble; and niece, Joscelyn Grace Bramble. Interment was at the family plot at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains, NJ.

A devoted son, grandson and uncle, Jason was loved and admired by many and enjoyed all sports, particularly basketball, hunting, woodworking, hiking, swimming, biking and the great outdoors. Jason expressed his love for and of animals in volunteering his time at a local animal shelter in Brewster, NY, where he had currently resided. He is greatly missed by family, friends and all who knew him.

A memorial service to celebrate Jason's life will be held at the United Methodist Church of Port Washington, 1515 Middle Neck Rd., Sands Point, on June 1 at 4 p.m. The Rev. Edward C. Horne officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to his mother toward his favorite charities.
