Formal registration for the upcoming Spring 2002 Manhasset PAL Girls Lacrosse season will be held:

Sunday, Jan. 13 Manhasset High School Gym at 2 p.m. until 5 p.m.

Registration will also be available for residents of Manhasset for the intramural clinic and travel team leagues at Manhasset Sports Shop on Plandome Road during business hours.

This clinic is for 1st and 2nd grade Lady Laxers starting on April 13 and ending June 8.

This league will have three divisions:

Rookie Division: 3rd and 4th grades, ages eight and nine.

Junior Division: 5th and 6th grades, ages ten and 11.

Senior Division: 7th and 8th grades, ages 12 and 13. This team will compete in the Long Island Senior Girls Lacrosse League and will be sponsored by Manhasset PAL.

**Cut-off dates for age requirements Dec. 15 to Nov. 30.

* Mandatory "copy" of players birth certificate.

* Family's primary medical insurance carrier and policy number.

* Complete registration and parents code of ethics form.

***Last day to register is Tuesday, Jan. 22, at Manhasset Sports Shop on Plandome Road during business hours due to league deadlines.

A late fee of $50 will be charged for any registrations filed after Jan. 15, (excluding the clinic). The Manhasset PAL must commit teams to the Nassau County League by early February. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that boys who sign up after Jan. 15 will have a spot on a travel team.

Season begins for grades 3 through 8.

Grades 3 through 8: Practice starts Saturday, March 2.

Season begins for grades 1 and 2

Grades 1 and 2: Intramural Clinic starts Saturday March 16.
