"There is no wilderness like life without friends; Friendship multiplies blessings and minimizes misfortunes; it is a unique remedy against adversity and it soothes the soul."

Baltasar

As survivor families of the World Trade Center tragedy, we would like to express our sincere appreciation for the many demonstrations of love and generosity that have been shown to us by our Manhasset neighbors and friends. The unified community establishment of the Manhasset Friends and Neighbors Trust was truly an endeavor of love and support. We all expect to get through these extremely difficult times and knowing that we have such good neighbors and friends in Manhasset will help us to do so. This tragedy has united us all in a very special way. We would like to extend special thanks to Amy Barrett, Louise Molloy and Mary Fran Jeffrey who coordinated the effort. Wishing you all God's Blessings and a Happy, Healthy and Hopeful New Year!
