Right Man for the Job

James E. Sharkey is seeking re-election for Manhasset-Lakeville Water/Fire District Commissioner, and is the right man for the job. Jim has the talent, expertise, and is a longtime resident of the area with his finger on the pulse of the community he serves. As an ex-chief and 27-year active member of the Manhasset-Lakeville Fire Department, I have personally experienced Jim's effective management style. During my 10 years as a chief, Jim provided the direction, guidance and financial support necessary to enable the Manhasset-Lakeville Fire Department to exceed the standards in the fire service that other departments strive to achieve.

The Water District has benefited from Jim's innovative leadership as well, with the implementation of a "world class" water treatment center which will be fully operational in 2002.

Jim has been, and continues to be, dedicated and committed to providing the highest quality drinking water as well as the best fire and rescue services available to our community. Truly the right man for the job.
