Nancy Scott Blanc died on Oct. 21, 2001. She was the beloved wife of Robert S. Blanc Jr., devoted mother of Anne D'Olier, and Scottie Harrison, stepmother of Robert Blanc III and Roger Blanc, loving grandmother of Sam, Nicko, Matt, Alex, David, Gregory, Cynthia, Christopher and Melissa. Ms. Blanc, a descendent of Nathaniel Heaton who came to Boston in 1632, was a graduate of Wheaton College and Columbia Teacher's College. She had a lifelong appreciation of fine arts and poetry. She will be greatly missed by the Manhasset Friends Meeting, of which she was an active member for more than 40 years. Services Sunday, Oct. 29, 11 a.m. at Manhasset Friends' Meeting House. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Friends Service Committee.
