Senator Michael Balboni has announced plans to open a Manhasset office to render assistance to the victims of the Sept. 11 terrorist attack.
Working in cooperation with the office of Congressman Peter King and State Assemblyman Thomas P. DiNapoli, a packet of helpful materials has been prepared and will be made available to assist those in need. The goal is to offer a clearning house of information close to the many families impacted by the attack on the World Trade Center.
The office is located at 390 Plandome Road, Suite 224, above Genovese. The hours will be Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9:30 to noon. The first day of operation will be Friday, Oct. 12. The space is being made available through the courtesy of Manhasset resident Edward Kitt, Esq.
Victims and family members wishing to meet with Senator Balboni at the Manhasset office should call 873-0736 and ask for Jim Sherry or Donna Franzese. An appointment is not necessary to pick up the packet of materials. Staff members will be available to assist with the paperwork necessary to access benefits.
