Strathmore Vanderbilt Country Club's swim team brought home the gold on Saturday, Aug. 4. For the first time in 19 years, Strathmore was undefeated in the dual meets and the winner at the championships. Coached by Lauren Gilhooley, Erin McNally and Karen Larkin and the club's athletic director, Danny Gimpel, this year truly proved a team effort. Spirits were high, coming off last year's championship win, and it was apparent from the enthusiasm of all the Strathmore children and adults that they were going to try their hardest to improve on last year.
