A full-page ad placed by pro-abortion NARAL/NY in your publication contains flat-out falsehoods concerning nine Long Island State Senators. They are accused of opposing legislation that would provide women with such services as breast and cervical cancer screening and osteoporosis treatment.

This is absolutely untrue - they do not oppose these services. But they are being maligned by NARAL/NY because they seek to add a conscience clause. In the senators' view, religious organizations such as schools and hospitals should not be forced to provide their employees with procedures and products that violate the moral code of these institutions.

That certainly wasn't the message of the offensive ad. But I guess when your stock-in-trade is the killing of society's most innocent, helpless, vulnerable members, what's so bad about lying?
