We have a major drug-dealing problem here. Teenagers and drug dealers smoke and sell drugs in front of our Pond View homes. The apartment complex is located directly in front of the 6th Precinct in Manhasset. The children deserve to grow up in a drug-free environment. Our seniors here should not have to live in fear.

We also have disabled seniors that have been on the waiting list and still have not been placed in sufficient housing. Some disabled people settle for a studio apartment with the expectation that when a one bedroom was available in the complex they would move.

Residents in the senior citizen housing will not be reimbursed for personal loss due to a faulty roof.

I am happy to say that the men have begun working on the roof. A special thanks to all that worked so diligently on getting the roof fixed.
