Major league ladies feast in the festive Sportime luncheon lobby while waiting their turn to play round robin doubles on all 9 Har-Tru clay courts. League director and club photographer Karen Marlib Palevsky coordinated doubles action throughout the day, rotating members on and off the courts for tennis, lunch and grand prize presentations at 1 p.m.

Manhasset resident Caryn Cirella, Spring 2001 Singles 3.0 League Champion, beamed proudly when her name was called to win a raffle prize of a one hour court time gift certificate.

One lucky Manhasset gal, Ann Cooney, won two raffle gifts, a set of delicious chocolate tennis racquets created by Lucy of Little Neck and a prize from Paulette of Mells Karon Fabrics of Roslyn. All three women are devoted charter members of Sportime tennis leagues.
