John P. Cunningham of Manhasset died on May 10, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Mary; his children, Mary Lee and John; and by his sisters, Mary and Helen. His sister, Margaret, and brothers, Edward and Vincent predeceased him. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Fairchild Funeral Chapel in Manhasset. A funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, May 14, at St. Mary's R. C. Church in Manhasset with interment following at Holy Rood Cemetery.

Kirt E. W. Johnson, a resident of Manhasset since 1952, died on May 13, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Louise; his children, Janet Stewart, William, Katherine Hall and Sarah Bergmeyer; and by Liesel Bergmeyer and Jason Hall. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 17, at 11 a.m. at Christ Church in Manhasset with interment following at the church cemetery.
