Ingeborg S. Pedersen, 88, of Manhasset, died on April 30, 2001. She was predeceased by her husband Alfred. She is survived by her son Roy of Seven Lakes, NC. Arrangements were made by the Austin F. Knowles Funeral Home, Port Washington. Religious service. Interment Nassau Knolls Cemetery.
Leo J. Piergiovanni of Manhasset died on May 4, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Mary; his daughters, Laura Kovalesky and Donna Player; and by five grandchildren. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Fairchild Funeral Chapel in Manhasset. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Mary's R. C. Church in Manhasset on Monday, May 7, with entombment following at Nassau Knolls Cemetery.
Jane A. Kiley, of Manhasset, died on April 13, 2001. She was a parishioner at St. Peter of Alcantara in Port Washington and enjoyed participation in the First Friday Seniors Group organized by St. Peter's Social Ministry. Mrs. Kiley was raised in Northampton, MA, and as a young girl had recollections of seeing President Calvin Coolidge who also lived there. She loved all animals, especially birds and had the hobby of raising canaries when she was younger. She was married twice, first to the late Anthony C. Kerdock and then to the late Bernard C. Kiley. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Fernandez of Manhasset; and her stepdaughters, Michaela Cahillane of Northampton and Jude Pappas of Snellville, GA. She is also survived by her brother William Ahearn of Greenfield, MA; four grandchildren; and eight stepgrandchildren. Arrangements were made by the Austin F. Knowles Funeral Home, Port Washington.
