William T. Dailey Jr., 59, died on Friday, March 16, at his home is Litchfield, CT. He was the son of Doris and the late William T. Dailey Sr. of Bellows Lane in Manhasset.
Bill Dailey was born on Aug. 25, 1941 in New York City. He lived with his family in Manhasset until 1983 when he and his wife and children moved to California. He was a 1958 graduate of St. Mary's High School and received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Georgetown University. During the Vietnam War he served as a 1st lieutenant in the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife, Alice (Ridder) and children: William T. Dailey III of San Mateo, CA; Andrew Dailey of Litchfield; Virginia Belmont and Anne Talamo, both of Mission Viejo, CA; Rebecca Dorgan of Park Ridge, IL; and Amy Dailey of New York City. He is also survived by his mother, Doris Dailey of Manhasset; brothers, Vincent of Larchmont, NY, Lawrence and David of Manhasset, and two sisters, Wendy Bennett and Ellen Dailey, both of Manhasset, and by nine grandchildren.
Mr. Dailey was an investment banker, partnered with Montgomery Securities in San Francisco. He was a member of the Board of Regents of Georgetown University, a member of the Society of American Baseball Research, president of the Board of Directors of the Oliver Wolcott Library; a member of the Advisory of the Wisdom House Retreat and Conference Center, a financial adviser to the Dominican Sisters of Hope, a member of the Litchfield Board of Ethics and the Cable Advisory Board for the town of Litchfield.
A funeral Mass was celebrated on March 19 at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Litchfield with burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to the Oliver Wolcott Library, 160 South St., Litchfield, CT; Wisdom House, 229 E. Litchfield Road, Litchfield, CT, or Visiting Nurse Service of Connecticut Hospice at Home, Kennedy Drive, Torrington.
Charles W. Dunn, 85, of Severna Park, MD, and formerly of Manhasset, died March 23, 2001 following a lengthy illness.
Born December 8, 1915, in Scotland Neck, NC, Mr. Dunn received his law degree from Wake Forest University. He was an executive with Grumman Aircraft in Bethpage, for nearly 40 years until his retirement in 1977.
He was preceded in death by Ruth Phipps Dunn, his wife of nearly 60 years, who died February 10, 2001. His son Bradley Dunn of Severna Park and two grandchildren, Caroline and Ian Dunn, survive him.
Mr. Dunn raised his family in Manhasset, where he was a member of various civic organizations. Following his retirement, he moved to Charlottesville, VA, where he lived until 1995. He then settled in Severna Park to be close to his son's family. His hobbies included carpentry and landscape design.
Memorial services and burial will be in Scotland Neck, N.C. Arrangements are by Letchworth Funeral Home, Scotland Neck.

Norma O'Keefe passed away at age 93 on March 10, 2001. Formerly of Brooklyn, she and her family moved to Manhasset in 1958. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond T. O'Keefe, former executive vice president of the Chase Manhasset Bank. She is survived by two sons, Raymond T. Jr. of New York City and William N. of Fairfield, CT. She also leaves three grandsons, Raymond III of London, England, Thomas J. of Westhampton, NY, Peter J. of Fairfield, CT, one granddaughter, Katie, also of Fairfield, CT and a brother, William N. Baldwin Jr. of Yardley, PA.
She was an active member of the Community Reformed Church and a member of the Plandome Heights Women's Club and a member of Plandome Country Club.
Funeral arrangements were made by Fairchild Funeral Chapel in Manhasset. Religious services were conduced by Rev. Stuart Clark of the Community Reformed Church on March 22 with internment, immediately following, at Nassau Knolls in Port Washington.
