Violet M. Terzian passed away in Buffalo, NY on February 8. She was 87 years old. She was predeceased by her husband, William, and her daughter, Eileen Coyne and is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline Paterniti, and two sons, William and Roger, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Violet was born on July 5, 1913 and was raised in Brooklyn. She married William Terzian on Sept. 5, 1936. They moved to Manhasset in 1943. Shortly thereafter William began his own photography business. 'Terzian of Manhasset.' William and Violet worked together until William's retirement in 1985, when they moved to their summer home in Lake George. William passed away in 1987 and Violet remained there until 1998 when she moved to Buffalo to be near her daughter and two sons.

A family graveside ceremony was conducted at the Community Reformed Church on Feb. 12. Memorial donations may be made to the Community Reformed Church, Manhasset.
