  • NEWS: Sunday in the Park With the Chamber

    On Sunday afternoon, Sept. 10, the Manhasset Chamber of Commerce held its third annual Sunday in the Park. After a dubious morning, the afternoon was bright and beautiful. The event this year marked the completion of the renovations to the Long Island Rail Road station, which the Chamber celebrated. The efforts of State Senator Michael Balboni were recognized, as Senator Balboni managed to get a state grant of funds which enabled the railroad to add a western staircase to the station, something long needed by the Bayview community and others in the western part of town.
