Rev. Stuart Clark, back row, left, North Hempstead Councilman Angelo Ferrara, front row, left, and EOC new director, Lamont Mency, second row, second from left, are all smiles as they see the results of their hard work.

Organized under the direction of Rev. Stuart Clark of the Manhasset Community Reformed Church, members of youth organizations of our local churches and temples met at The Manhasset-Great Neck EOC (Economic Opportunity Council) building on High Street last Saturday morning. The local EOC hopes to begin a major renovation of the building within the next two weeks and the young volunteers came to clean up the gymnasium before the work begins. They disposed of old clothing, books and other materials that had been abandoned in the gym over the past few years.
