Tower Foundation Dinner Dance Raises $100,000
More than 300 members of the greater Manhasset community joined together at North Hempstead Country Club on Saturday, Jan. 22. The occasion was the black-tie annual dinner dance sponsored by the Tower Foundation, founded in 1991 and chartered to provide support for our local school system. When all of the conversation, camaraderie, dining and dancing had ended and the numbers were tallied, the evening's fun-filled event had generated $100,000! This figure represents an almost 30 percent increase over the money raised by last year's dinner dance, the previous high.
