At its Jan. 12 meeting, the board of directors of the Village of Munsey Park hired the firm of Frederick F. Clark Associates to give professional advice on its proposed legislation regarding the regulations of wireless telecommunications installations within the village. The board also interviewed Cameron Engineering & Associates, LLP, and reserved the right to consult them in the future if further advice becomes necessary. Since its passage in December, the recodification of the code of the Village of Flower Hill has been the subject of debate between some residents and the village board. A standing-room-only crowd greeted the Flower Hill trustees at this month's village meeting and although the weather outside was freezing, the atmosphere within was at times uncomfortably warm as occasional elevated exchanges ensued over the interpretation of the new laws. St. Mary's hockey team recently swept all six games to win the Philadelphia Invitational Tournament. The Gaels defended last year's victory with a convincingly balanced attack by beating Henderson HS 5-1 and 8-1, Bishop Shanahan 9-1, Greenburg Catholic 6-1, Westchester East 5-4 and in the championship game, St. Mary's defeated Washington HS (NJ) 6-2.
