Helen Romaine Sexauer died on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 1999, of congestive heart failure. She had lived in Manhasset for 35 years.

She leaves her daughters, Deborah Cooley of Silver Beach, VA; Robin Sexauer of Nassawadox, VA; Susan Sexauer of Palm Beach, FL; son, Christopher Sexauer of Belle Haven, VA; and grandchildren Robert Charles Cooley and William Sexauer. She is also survived by her sister, Josephine Siebald; brother, Raymond Hosie; and niece, Bonnie McGee. She will be buried in Virginia where her children live.

While in Manhasset, Mrs. Sexauer was active visiting the local nursing home and participated in the Christmas Boutique held by the Immaculate Heart of Mary League.

A memorial service was held at St. Mary's R.C. Church on Saturday, Nov. 27.
