  • NEWS: Chamber of Commerce to Honor Chesebrough, Miller

    Every year the Manhasset Chamber of Commerce honors individuals of exemplary character and achievement who have exhibited leadership in business and community service. This year's honorees are Betsy Chesebrough and Bill Miller of Munsey Park. The cocktail party will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 7, at Strathmore Vanderbilt Country Club.   • SPORTS: Manhasset Girls' Varsity Volleyball

    After its 15-3, 15-3, 9-15, 15-5 win over St. Mary's of Manhasset, the girls' volleyball improved its record 9-7. The team goes into its last week of the season with a 3 game winning streak, and with wins in 4 out of its last 5 matches. The girls' face a challenge this week with two very tough, very important matches against Hewlett and Wantagh, two of the top teams in Nassau County. FULL STORY

  • SPORTS: Manhasset Warriors Soccer Back on Warpath

    The St. Mary's Manhasset Warriors have opened up their season by winning four out of five games. During the first game the Warriors had a defensive battle with St. Mary's team-1 in which both goalkeepers Paul Pate and Drew Keneally shut down the opponents. Following some equally good goal keeping on the opposing side, Chase Cotter, Chris Musalo and William McIntosh launched a furious offensive attack, which resulted in a winning score by Tristan Miller to start off the Warriors season with a 1-0 victory.
