Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County Police Department are seeking the public's help in locating the person(s) responsible for committing criminal mischief at both the Christ Church, 47 Northern Blvd., and the Community Reform Church, 90 Plandome Rd., and their adjoining cemeteries in Manhasset.

Sometime between the afternoon of Thursday, June 24, and the morning of Friday, June 25, a rock was thrown through a window at the Community Reform Church and knocked over and broke a number of tombstones in both cemeteries.

Anyone with information about the identity of those responsible for this vadalism is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls to this toll-free number can remain anonymous and callers do not have to reveal their identity or testify in court. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1000 for information leading to an arrest in this case.
