St. Francis Hospital Names New President and CEO
Catholic Health Services of Long Island has named Alan D. Guerci, M.D., a nationally-known cardiologist, as President and Chief Executive Officer of St. Francis Hospital - The Heart Center in Roslyn. Dr. Guerci had served as the hospital's interim President and CEO since May 1, 1999, following the retirement of Patrick J. Scollard.

Sixth Grade Lacrosse Wins League Title
Sixth grade is traditionally a significant time in the lives of young people. It usually marks the end of primary school education and often the beginning of adolescence. Voices deepen, bodies transform and, in Manhasset, a boy's PAL Youth Lacrosse career comes to a conclusion. And, while this was also true for Lester Petracca's sixth grade 1999 club, these young fellows certainly went out in style.
