Thank you to everyone who participated in the successful Village of Plandome Heights' 70th anniversary dinner-dance at the Port Washington Yacht Club on June 12. It was wonderful to see so many longtime as well as new residents of our village having such a great time.

Thank you goes to the members of our committee: Donna Barcia, Lisa Belinsky, Barbara Curran, Mary Ann Grieco, Historian Eleanor Imperato, Kathryn Madison, Mary Pat Pilch, Rochele Savino and Gloria Volpe for their time and talents. We also wish to recognize the following residents and businesses who contributed to the success of this 70th anniversary celebration: Carolee Brown, Arthur and Dorothy Matthews, Eleanor and John Hannon, The Manhasset Deli, Trustee James Hills, Plandome Heights Women's Club, Audrey and John Hunter, The Big Party Shop, Nancy Morris of State Farm Insurance, Trustee Bart Giusto, Ursula Kenny, George Becker, Bill Curran and Bill Volpe.
