g Marianne Congdon Berg, born in Manhasset on Aug. 11, 1962, died on June 5, 1999 in Fort Lauderdale, FL where she had been living for the past three years. Marianne was raised in Manhasset and graduated from Manhasset High School in 1981. She attended Mitchell College in New London, CT and thereafter worked as a dental assistant in Manhasset for several years before moving to Fort Lauderdale. She was the devoted aunt to her seven nieces and nephews and prior to her death worked in a day care center in Fort Lauderdale. Marianne was the beloved daugther of Patricia Congdon O'Brien and late Alan Congdon and is survived by her stepfather Richard O'Brien; her two sisters, Katherine Congdon Caldwell and Carla Congdon Leone; and her two brothers, James Congdon and John Congdon. A Funeral Mass was said on June 10 at St. Mary's RC Church in Manhasset. Interment Nassau Knolls Cemetery, Port Washington.

Alfred C. Kasper Jr. died on June 15, 1999. A native of Bayside, he grew up in Manhasset. He later lived in Roslyn and for nine years in Richmond, VA, recently returning and living in Glen Cove. Mr. Kasper graduated from Buckley Country Day School, Choate in Connecticut and Rutgers University. He was a member of the North Hempstead Country Club. He is survived by his wife Martha and his daughter Beverly Kasper. The funeral was held on June 17 and interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx. He will be missed by all who loved him. Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or the Heart Fund.

Eric G. Webster of Glen Cove, formerly of Plandome, died on June 14, 1999. He is survived by his wife, Patricia (nee Connolly); his children Eric C., Charles C. and Claire George; his mother, Elizabeth, and brothers Donald, Robert and Neal. He is also survived by a granddaughter, Allison. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Patrick's R.C. Church in Glen Cove.
