Concerning our Plandome Manor Village election of Tuesday, March 16, I am writing to endorse enthusiastically the candidacy of our current trustee, Carlo Manganillo. In his five years as trustee, Mr. Manganillo has been a model for public service. A team player, he refers always to "our board," when he speaks of fiscal prudence, responsiveness to community needs--ascribing good intentions to all. His intelligence and conciliatory nature, together with his legal background, are used to good advantage in board meetings.

Mr. Manganillo keeps discussions logical and focused; he seeks compassionate and amicable solutions; he offers measured and informed responses. He serves for the sole purpose to be of help to his neighbors.

Experience matters. Carlo Manganillo has amassed invaluable experience in his trustee years. We shall be well served by his election to mayor.
