On Sunday, Feb. 21, the Manhasset Baseball and Softball League will conduct the final free indoor baseball and softball clinics for this winter. The boys baseball clinic will run from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Manhasset High School Jr. HS gym, while the girls softball clinic will be located in the Sr. HS gym from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. At least eight high school coaches and minor league players will be conducting the clinics.

There are now over 500 players signed up this year for baseball and softball and we now expect to have over 600 by the time outdoor practices begin on Saturday, March 27. If you still need to sign up and can't get to the free clinic, please register at Phil's Manhasset Sport Shop by Saturday, March 20.

At the Sunday clinic, team and field sponsorship information will be available. Also, registration for the Baseball/Softball Golf Outing at Harbor Links on April 19 will close out on March 15, please call 627-1384 to sign up a foursome or for additional information.

The Manhasset Boys Lacrosse Program will kick off on Saturday morning, March 6, at 10 a.m. at Munsey Park field. We have waited during a long winter for the upcoming season. If you did not register for the upcoming season and wish to do so, you can register on March 6 or you can register any time at the Manhasset Sports Shop on Plandome Road.

The Manhasset lacrosse program will be experiencing its greatest participation ever this season, so if you have a stick and have fun with your buddies, be at the Munsey Park field at 10 a.m. Wear all your gear and bring your stick.

The first and second grade programs will not be held during the month of March but will start on April 3 at noon at the Munsey Park field.
