After a 38-37 loss to Cure of Ars on Friday night, Nov. 20, the seventh grade Bulldogs were pumped and ready for action this Sunday. The girls played St. Joseph's in a game that was close until the very end.

Mary Lepore was Queen of the Court as usual, scoring the majority of baskets. Keeping St. Joseph's in line were Micki West, Alisa Silvestri and Kasema Mayhew with an iron clad defense.

Frustrating the Garden City girls even further were the steals, time and time again, by Teale Clark and Liz Pavlovich, who both turned the ball around numerous times. Jessica Hannan played her most aggressive game so far, sinking three baskets. The always powerful play of Bridget Millard and Mary Sabo helped secure the win for the Bulldogs.

In the end it was the girls playing as a team that made their victory possible and kept the game fun and exciting as it should be. Great game, girls.
