The Manhasset Baseball League and the Manhasset Softball League will begin registrations for the 1999 season on Sunday, Dec. 6, and Sunday, Dec. 13, from 9:30 a.m. - noon at St. Mary's Marist Hall (boys HS).

The boys baseball program is expected to attract over 500 players in its second year and the girls program is looking forward to a registration of at least 250 in its first year of play.

Both programs will start practices at the end of March. There will also be a series of free baseball and softball clinics that will begin in mid-January and continue weekly until the start of the season. Please check Manhasset Press for times and dates of the clinics.

The boys program is open to all boys in grades K - 6, while the girls program is available to all girls in grades K - 7.
