Nassau County Executive Tom Gulotta will throw out the first ball as the Manhasset Baseball League starts its first season on Saturday, April 25. The game will start at 12:30 p.m. sharp and will feature the Major Division game between the Devilrays, sponsored by The Saints, and the Orioles, sponsored by PP Whitney.

There will be free popcorn and free raffle tickets for drawings each inning, starting with the first pitch. The prizes will be baseball bats, balls, gloves, jackets, etc. from Phil's Manhasset Sport Shop.

The game will mark the beginning of a season where more than 350 players on 27 teams will play 150 games, plus playoffs and a World Series Sunday, at four different baseball fields in Manhasset.
