The Pinault School of Music has announced the third solo recital of Daniela Bracchi of Manhasset at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall on April 18, 1998 at 2 p.m.

1997 saw Daniela win first place in the Stryjniak Music School's second annual competition and first place in the Bartok-Kabalavsky International Piano Competition. Daniela also participated in four master classes with some of the greatest pianists of out time.

Antoine Munfakh, a senior at Chaminade High School and resident of Manhasset, was recently named a National Merit Finalist by the National Merit Corporation. This highly prestigious award is the highest level of National Merit status awarded. It places Antoine in a group representing less than one percent of U. S. high school seniors. Antoine will be attending Yale next fall.

Charles Bilello, Kris Kim and Meredith Zaccherio of Manhasset are all on the Dean's List at the Harpur College of Arts and Sciences at Binghamton University.

Suzanne Sheerin of Plandome was named to the Dean's List for the fall semester at The Johns Hopkins University. Suzanne, who is majoring in cognitive science, is the daughter of Edward and Marilyn Sheerin.

Amy Ann Corcoran, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Corcoran of Manhasset, has been recognized by the Dean's List of Distinguished Students at the University of Richmond for the fall semester, 1997.

Kathleen Doyle of Manhasset, a senior early childhood education major at Salve Regina University, has been named to the Dean's List for the fall semester. Doyle, the daughter of Kevin and Patricia Doyle, is a graduate of Wellesley High School.

Amy Craig Lederer and Lindsey Beth Mollen of Manhasset were named to the Dean's List for the fall semester at Lehigh University.
