Jean Davis from Nassau County Head Start came to the High Street Community Center on Tuesday, Feb. 10, to address a group of Manhasset-Great Neck Head Start parents and, she said, "to calm the waters." She was not successful.

Robert Rule, Cornell '72, and John F. Driscoll, University of Virginia '80 have been named to the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame. They will be inducted this summer during the 1998 International Lacrosse Foundation World Championship in Baltimore. Both Rule and Driscoll are designated "truly great players."
