Charlotte Wilson DeMauriac Mills

Charlotte Wilson DeMauriac Mills, of Manhasset, died on Dec. 23, 1997. She was the wife of the late James Churchill Mills who died in 1944. She leaves her daughter, Ann, and her cat, Blackie. Her family loved her very much.

Frances H. Miles

Frances H. MIles, formerly of Manhasset, widow of Edward F. Miles Jr., died after a long illness on Dec. 22, 1997 in Raleigh, NC. She was 76 years old. She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Francine Miles Hyland of Manhasset, and is survived by three daughters; Mary Teresa Jackson of Raleigh, NC; Michele Dunn of Wilton, CT; Christine Miles of Southampton, NY; a son, Edward F. Miles of Alexandria, VA; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A private funeral was held in Raleigh, NC, and a memorial service will be held at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Manhasset, on Jan. 6, 1998 at 9:45 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY.
