Obituaries

Richard A. Peters

Richard A. Peters, 68, formerly of Manhasset, died on Dec. 13, 1997 in Beebe Medical Center in Delaware. He is survived by his wife, Mignon, of Henlopen Acres, DE, and his children, Jean Ken`ton (Herb) of Lewes, DE; Daniel (Leilani) of Haleiwa, HA; Elizabeth Barry (Kevin) of New Paltz, NY and Kathryn.

Mr. Peters was a veteran of the Korean War and a lieutenant colonel in the U. S. Marine Corps and Reserves for 38 years. He was a 747 Captain for Pan American World Airways for 32 years.

A funeral service was held in Westminster Presbyterian Church in Rehoboth Beach, DE, on Thursday, Dec. 18.

Contributions in his name to Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Department, Rehoboth Avenue, Rehoboth Beach DE 19971 or the Westminster Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.
