The Levittown Athletic Club offered free clinics on Friday, March 6 and 13. Paige Smith, Adelphi University Softball Head Coach, and some of her players were the instructors for the first clinic, which covered batting. Island Trees High School Varsity Head Coach Marino and her coaches were instructors for the second clinic, which covered throwing, fielding, pitching and catching. The girls will begin practicing shortly. Any girls in sixth through twelfth grades that wish to play in the LAC Spring Season, which will begin on May 11, may register online at www.lacsoftball.com or by attending the fielding and base running clinic on March 20 at Island Trees Memorial Middle School.
