On Friday, Dec. 19, Levittown Kiwanis hosted its Annual Holiday Party for students in the Summit Lane DLC Program. This was a special day that was as enjoyable for the Kiwanis members who got to see the joy on the children's faces as it is for the children who each received a present from Santa and his elf.
The Levittown Kiwanis Club will be holding its first-ever Cruise Ship Horse Racing Fundraiser at 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 31 at North Levittown Lanes. For the $15 admission fee those attending will receive a night of fun and laughter, food, refreshments and a free game of bowling after the races. Prizes for the horse racing include a 27" TV, digital camera and ipods.
Money raised will be used by the Levittown Kiwanis Club to assist those less fortunate in the community.

Please save all your soda/drink flip top tabs and all your General Mills box tops and Campbell Soup labels and turn them in to the Levittown Kiwanis Club at one of our meetings. The box tops and soup labels go to St. Jude's Ranch for Children. When St. Jude's reaches 300,000 box tops and soup labels they are able to redeem them for a Chrysler Caravan. The soda tabs are now being donated to Mercy Hospital. Anyone who would like to make a donation can drop them off at La Focaccia Restaurant (70 East Village Green) or call Club President Susie Trenkle at 804-8906.
