The eighth grade boy's soccer team capped off an incredible season with a 3-0 victory over Mattlin. The boys' unselfish team play and work ethic resulted in an 8-0-1 record. The team was led offensively by leading scorers Ryan Palusko, center halfback Rob Bennett, and right wing Matt Norcini. Other leading scorers included Anthony Denunzio, Sean Carey, Anthony Costales, Matt Bellacosa, Pat Newins, Mike Munoz, Nick Butcher and Matt Bascelli.

Goalkeeper Bob Kollmer and the defensive nucleus of Pat Newins, Justin Perez, Chris Pappas and Matt Bascelli recorded four shutouts, allowing only six goals on the season, and completely shutting down the opposing team's offense. Halfbacks Steve Pavao, Brendan Jones, Doug Nussbaum, and William Knott controlled the midfield and also contributed offensively. Highlights of the season included shutout victories over Berner, Merrick and Plainedge as well as a come from behind tie early in the season against Seaford.
