Levittown Business District to Receive a Facelift
America's First Suburb, Levittown, is getting a facelift in its business district. At a press conference on Gardiners Avenue, Hempstead Town Supervisor Kate Murray and Councilman Gary Hudes thanked Senator Kemp Hannon for a $425,000 state grant that will fund attractive streetscape upgrades along two main business thoroughfares in downtown Levittown.
