Levittown Swimming Association will kick off the summer swim season on Monday, June 30. This is the first day of practice at all of their Levittown pools which include Bluegrass, Acorn, Slate, Wolcott, Carman, Jerusalem, Parkway, West, and Azalea. LSA, who has been in the community for 53 years, will be getting ready for their first relay carnival swim meet on July 13 at Jerusalem Avenue Pool. Their swim meets are friendly competitions between all of Levittown pools. Practices are generally held an hour before each pool opening from Monday to Friday and also some evenings. Children should be able to swim a lap by themselves. They will learn how to do all four strokes-freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, and butterfly to their ability.
