If I were Dr. Sirois, the superintendent of the Levittown School District, I would only be concerned with the alleged disparaging test question if any eighth grader from Levittown put down Levittown as the correct answer. As a trained educator he should know this was an excellent test question, one with an obvious right answer (Hooverville), and obviously wrong answer (Levittown) and a discriminator or two, a question that determines who truly knows the correct answer.
For those who need a quick history lesson, Hoovervilles happened as a result of the Great Depression (1929) while Levittown was a result of the post World War II prosperity. Dr. Sirois and others should be thankful the question did not ask about restrictive covenants.
And if they did answer "Levittown" maybe more should have been spent on classroom instruction and books and less on washers and dryers and bathrooms.
