The varsity baseball club finished off a sweep of Glen Cove by a score of 8-1. The Bulldogs used a combination of great pitching, solid defense, speed and power in this dominant performance. I.T. totaled three home runs and 10 stolen bases as a team. Nicky Marchelos tossed a complete game, going seven strong innings, while scattering eight hits and striking out three for his fourth win of the season. Parents of the boys who wrestle for the Island Trees High School, Memorial Middle School and Kids Teams have banded together to form a Booster Club.
