The varsity softball team won their season opener with a 7-6 non-league victory over Hicksville. Taylor Tedeschi earned her first career win as a varsity pitcher. She threw a complete game, giving up three earned runs and five strikeouts. Taylor also drove in the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning. Alysha Ciaramitaro set up the bottom of the seventh with a lead-off double. Kristine Cunningham had a good day at the plate going 2-4 with two RBI's and two runs scored.

The girls' eighth grade basketball team lost a close game to Hicksville on a buzzer beater. They played their hearts out and left everything on the court. Nicole Pellegrino and Maggie Milonakis led the team with seven points each. Allie Merrill scored six points and Bridget Vilbig, Kelsey Frank and Jessica Campisi each scored four points. The Lady Bulldogs finished the season with a 7-4 record.

The girls' seventh grade basketball team played their last game of the season against a determined team from Hicksville. The high scorers for the Lady Dawgs were Asia Mabanta, Angela Federico, Deana Rohrs, Kendall Valinoti and Brianna Ferrara. Juliette Strahan, Gianinna Roldan and Heather Oggeri showed great hustle on both ends of the floor.
