The Levittown Kiwanis Club will be holding its Annual Pancake Breakfast this Sunday, March 30 from 7:30 to 11 a.m. in the Panther Room at Levittown Memorial Education Center. The cost of this event is $6 for adults with a discount for children and seniors. This is right before the LEADD Walk and Fair so power up for your big walk with some delicious pancakes.

Levittown Kiwanis has been the proud sponsoring club of Key Club Lieutenant Governor Rickie Santer for the past two years. Rickie, a senior at Division Avenue High School, has accomplished many things during his term, including raising $10,000 for the Foundation for Fighting Blindness and increasing key club involvement throughout the division. Now, as he graduates, Rickie will be turning the Lieutenant Governor reins over to Robin Kornstein, a student at Island Trees High School. As this is also one of the key clubs sponsored by Levittown Kiwanis, it will be the third consecutive year that the Kiwanis Club of Levittown will be the sponsoring club of the Key Club Lieutenant Governor.

On March 12, Rickie Santer held his final divisional meeting for all the key clubs he served. At that time he presented a number of awards, including one to the Levittown Kiwanis Club for outstanding support of Divisional events. It was a truly proud moment for the Levittown Kiwanis Club.

As of Jan. 1, the Levittown Kiwanis Club has changed its meeting schedule from every Thursday to the second and fourth Thursdays of every month.

The Levittown Kiwanis Club is a very active part of our local community. Levittown Kiwanis hosts food drives, sends underprivileged children to camp, gives scholarships, sponsors community events and more. If you are interested in learning more about this philanthropic organization and the good works the club does, come to a meeting. Guests are welcome to attend. Levittown Kiwanis meets the second and fourth Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at La Focaccia Restaurant, 70 East Village Green, Levittown. Telephone: 796-4461. For more information, contact President Susie Trenkle at 804-8906.
