This installment of the Levittown Chamber of Commerce's Spotlight on Business is Dr. Larain Valenti, a Levittown chiropractor. Dr. Valenti's practice is located at 3000 Hempstead Tpke., Suite 304, in Levittown, across from Tri-County Flea Market.

Dr. Valenti's practice emphasizes an integrated, whole-body approach to each patient's care. Utilizing a wide range of chiropractic techniques, Dr. Valenti is committed to personalized one-on-one treatment of children, adults, and seniors. Dr. Valenti also recommends lifestyle, nutritional and postural modifications as part of her care.

Dr. Larain Valenti graduated from the University at Albany with her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology. She received her Doctorate in Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, MO. During her clinical internship, she was a member of the Health Awareness Worskhop Team where she provided patient education workshops to new patients in the clinic. It was during this time that Dr. Valenti discovered her passion for increasing public awareness of chiropractic and its benefits. She currently has several engagements set up in the local area as part of a community outreach program, and is available to speak at your group or company.

In addition to her work in the healthcare medium, Dr. Valenti hosts fundraising events for the Levittown community. She recently ran a highly successful coat drive in conjunction with Assemblyman McDonough's annual Coats for Kids program. With the generous help of patients and the community she collected over 200 coats. Last year she ran a food drive that benefited St. Bernard's parish.

Dr. Valenti participates in most medical insurance plans. Office hours are by appointment only, with convenient late night and Saturday appointments available. Emergency appointments are also available.
